The showroom
The aim of the showroom is to enable artists to exhibit their work in a dynamic environment of exchange with the public.
We give priority to long exhibitions, so as to cover the whole year, with a program of 300 days a year. Exhibitions will follow performances and installations, and we'll be encouraging cultural cross-fertilization by weaving together music, light and images.
We also give pride of place to the digital arts, offering the public a unique experience and total immersion in the work.

This fall, L'ESSENTIEL is expanding.

As an extension of our existing premises, come and discover our new space dedicated to the world of the arts: exhibitions, café théâtre, Comedy Club and concerts all year round.

Dear jazz and food lovers! We are delighted to invite you to join us on September 11, 12, and 13, 2026, in the village of Cucuron, in the heart of the Luberon, for the very first edition of the JAZZTRONOMIC FESTIVAL. For three days, let yourself be swept away by a unique experience combining jazz concerts, renowned chefs, film screenings, a gourmet village, and many surprises that will set the tone for this exceptional weekend.

Louis Winsberg, the headliner for the festival’s opening night, will perform as part of a trio to present his new project (Temps Réel Trio). He is the iconic guitarist of the band «Sixun,» arguably the most renowned group in the jazz fusion scene in France.Here, he continues his exploration of free and inspired jazz fusion, seeking out new sounds, driven by a style of playing that is as unique as it is charismatic. It is a true honor to welcome this great French guitarist to our lineup.

CLOSING DINNER
For this closing night, we’ve created a unique experience—an exceptional interlude where fine dining meets music to celebrate the end of this first edition in style. For the occasion, two renowned chefs from our region will combine their talents to present a four-handed gourmet dinner.
Our patron, Eric Sapet, will welcome young chef Nicolas Seibold—who recently earned a Michelin star near the village of Ansouis—for a unique, thoughtful, and inspired collaboration. In the kitchen, their culinary worlds will converge to create an exceptional menu. In the dining room, the experience will continue to the rhythm of a jazz selection curated by Laurent Garnier.

The brewery
In the raw setting of a disused factory, on the outskirts of the village of Cucuron, Brasserie L'Essentiel came to life in the summer of 2023.
This unique venue combines contemporary art and culinary events.
In perpetual motion, the establishment reinvents the spirit of French Bistrots as a living canvas, evolving with exhibitions and performances. The menu features tapas with local flavors and jarred dishes that combine aesthetics and terroir.
It also lends itself to other propositions, for the time of ephemeral services. For example, under the influence of an exhibition, the décor is transformed and the dishes are elegantly interpreted.
The cellar, meanwhile, houses references from some twenty breweries, including its own beer.
In the wine department, you'll find L'Essentiel's house cuvée "AOP Luberon", with labels signed by artists who have exhibited in the art center.
The brasserie L'Essentiel welcomes all generations in a warm, avant-garde atmosphere, between concerts and authentic conviviality, shaping this place into a jewel where each visit becomes a unique immersion.
